Hi. I'd suggest you add your "vote" to the "Survey" subsection, or your comments in the RfC might end up getting ignored. This is typically done in this sort of format:

• Oppose. I strongly oppose this using a pejorative term like "Diploma Mill" in the opening paragraph to describe Kennedy Western University/Warren National University because...

I had investigated this for some time mostly for my work. This is, of course this is a very old topic and one that is moot since the University is now closed. I did a little research as to why the University closed its doors. Mostly it had to do with the GAO investigation. This investigation is usually what is cited when people talk about why the University is substandard. It was stated by Claudia Glazer (I may have mispelled) who said that she only took one course, that of Hazardous Waste and passed the course within 16 hours. I spoke to students of the school and none of them could do such a feat in so little time. To be honest, I did attend two accredited colleges and took courses which were ridiculously easy like that. But she had judged the entire institution based on one course. She said that she earned 40% of her credit that way. Logic would dictate that she may have received credit for previous work, something that KWU did offer to some students. Otherwise to say one course would be 40% of the credit required for graduation would be preposterous. No student I spoke with had any similar experience. So really this statement is misleading.

And I will repeat myself. No student or faculty member was allowed to give testimony. In short the GAO investigation was a sham. I really could not care less about the administrators who quite honestly are a bunch of putzes since they will not even release transcripts for former students. But I do care about the students. Not sure why its important to you but I am an Engineer with a major electronics company. I was looking for a school which granted online degrees in Electrical Engineering. Mostly it was for my own curiosity. At the time Kennedy Western was the only such school. Today there are many others. I am currently pursuing a Masters at an accredited University. The reason I'm pressing this issue is because Wikipedia's terms of service have changed since you joined, such that now you're required to disclose any paid contributions you make. If you have an unpaid conflict-of-interest, for instance if you were a KWU student and wanted to preserve the legitimacy of your degree, then you're strongly encouraged to avoid editing the article directly, though disclosure wouldn't be an absolutely requirement. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 00:13, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
