Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, SuperTurboChampionshipEdition. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Dolotta (talk) 18:34, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Please remember to warn vandals after you have reverted their edits, it helps stop those who have done so by accident, and leaves a paper trail so administrators can block the accounts for not listening to warnings. Once you have autoconfirmed status, you will be able to enable the WP:TWINKLE application, which helps simplify reverting and warning vandalism/vandals. Thank you for your anti-vandal efforts! Hi SuperTurboChampionshipEdition, I fixed the image link and move the "super barnstar" you left for User_talk:Jimbo_Wales#A_SUPER_BARNSTAR_for_you.21. You can see the update at that link. Happy editing, — xaosflux Talk 14:51, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sophie Goldschmidt

edit

The article Sophie Goldschmidt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fail to see any coverage other than statements that she was appointed CEO. Seems to fail notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 06:52, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, SuperTurboChampionshipEdition. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rococo Painting

edit

Hey, I see that you marked Rococo painting with a under construction template. I would argue that the article should instead be deleted, as its subject is essentially the same as Rococo. Rosguill (talkcontribs) 21:39, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

edit

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 17:02, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mistaken reversion of edits

edit

You reverted edits I made to an article about the podcast known as Serial. What would be the process to properly edit this article, such that it will not be reverted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.93.140.42 (talk) 15:47, 7 May 2018 (UTC) Apologies. You deleted, or "blanked" a section without explaining why. This could be mistaken for vandalism, or could just be vandalism. Next time, please give a good reason for you blanking. Thanks! Great pyramid

edit

It's made out of limestone and granite, we even know where it was sourced and how it got there. That hypothesis is however discussed at Egyptian pyramid construction techniques#Limestone concrete hypothesis. Doug Weller talk 15:49, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Apologies. User:SuperTurboChampionshipEdition

No need to apologise, I can see how such mistakes can be made. Doug Weller talk 16:41, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.

By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.

I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.

Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.

If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   00:14, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT
