Eddie Moussa Syrian origin references

You left a message about Eddie Moussa. He only recently acquired Lebanese nationality for playing with the Lebanese National Team. But Eddie Moussa is born in Syria. Here are some references:

However I stand corrected. Interestingly he couldn't have been Lebanese if he RECENTLY got Lebanese nationality to play in the national team. I checked the source in the library, and it does not say so. There were no Israeli shellings into Syria, quite to the contrary virtually all, if not all sources say that Syria shelled Israel from the Golan Heights. The members of WikiProject Israel include people who are interested in articles pertaining to Israel, not just pro-Israel editors. Among the members are RolandR and ... you. In addition, the notice was neutrally worded.

UN office in Jerusalem

Hi Supreme D, I lent my book to a girl who never gave it back. I did read the book in question and the book did say what I typed in the article. Moreover what the author wrote is also corroborated by a documentary I saw and it is also corroborated by the Israeli General Moshe Dayan's memoir. If I have the time I will go to the library and check for the page; but in the mean time if you go through the book yourself you will find the right page. I don't think he mentions the years and the number of border flare-ups (I got that from a reliable documentary) but if I remember he does say something to the effect of "the overwhelming majority of border flare-ups between Syria and Israel were started by Israel. However I have met you before on Wikipedia and I know that you are very knowledgeable about this topic yourself and you would know about Moshe Dayan's memoir and his corroboration of the aforementioned passage, therefore this is not something I made up. What I wrote in article is a historical fact that can easily be sourced, it is not hearsay.George Al-Shami (talk) 15:13, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
