Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 06:58, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Naam Tamilar Katchi into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 09:20, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

What is worse is that because you copied from the article page and not the editing window, the references weren't copied. Doug Weller talk 09:21, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Spelling of Tamil - these changes must stop

edit

You could possibly discuss them on the talk pages of the articles, but we use the common English spelling and you won't get agreement. If you continue you will be blocked. Doug Weller talk 09:23, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

"Bull embracing"

edit

Hi there, re: this, you need to discuss this on the article's talk page. There appears to be a campaign to soften the language used to describe this practice, and Wikipedia is neither censored nor do we use euphemistic speech. "Embracing" implies love, tenderness and affection, so the change looks an awful lot like an attempt to promote a point of view rather than to write neutrally. Thank you.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Seeman (politician), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Seeman (politician), you may be blocked from editing. Do not remove sourced content. Discuss your concerns in the talk page Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:30, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2017 pro-jallikattu protests, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SUN EYE 1 16:16, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
