- The numbers in brackets show the number of characters added or deleted from an article in the last edit, so if you see large negative numbers you can tell someone deleted a lot of material in the last edit. One reason for it is to help identify vandalism quickly as it is very unusual to be removing large amounts of content without a good explanation. Mfield (talk) 17:18, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
how do you....
editI want to know how to upload pictures, how to see what rank are you (like new-experienced) i want to know how to upgrade your talk page. If you could help me with that i would like it.
- Hello Survent2, I noticed you requested to be adopted by Addshore. I am currently his only adoptee, and wanted to see who you are. Anyway, welcome to wikipedia. I did revert your edits at Story City, Iowa, when making changes to an article please make sure they are written in a neutral way, and verifiable by adding a reliable source. I added a template with some useful links to the top of your talk page, and recommend you browse through them. Also to answer your questions. Wikipedia has no ranks, but if you are on the userpage of another user, or his/her talk page. There is a toolbox section to the left, with links to how many contribution the user has, you can also click logs where the oldest entry shows at what date the account was created. Uploading images can be done once your account has been autoconfirmed, for this it must be at least 4 days old and have at least 10 edits. When autoconfirmed you can use the Upload file link in your toolbox to upload images, but be sure to read through and follow the image policy first. I'm sure Addshore will get back to you about the option, and wish you happy editing on wikipedia. Greetings, =Species8473= (talk) 21:42, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
