Hi! I just wanted to let you know why I reverted your edits. I thought I'd left an edit summary but apparently popups overwrote it. It's just that the material you placed under your new section was all contained in the Demographics section. I think having it in two places is repetitive. If you disagree, we can discuss this on the article's talk page. Happy editing! —LestatdeLioncourt 20:30, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Assyrian numbers
editShlama Khon. I read your concerns on my talk page. See the problem is many Western European nations don't do ethnic census as Eastern Euro and North American nations do. So with those places, we use the most reliable source we can. I dont think AINA is a reliable source at all. It doesn't mention where they get their numbers from. They just state it. I think the CIA and third party numbers are more reliable. In wikipedia, census numbers should be used first, but if they are not avaliable, then again we depend on the most trusted sources. Regards. Chaldean 23:55, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Khon, you know very well that is not true. Where are the ethnic census? Syria and Iraq do not do ethnic census. So that is why we used CIA numbers. AINA's numbers are only estimates, and if you email them they will tell you the same. Please provide reliable sources. Chaldean 01:08, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Picture for Assyrian People infobox
editShlama aziza,
Please consult the talk page on Wikiproject Assyria, where I proposed to have a vote on who to include in the Assyrian people infobox. As you may already be aware, there is a bit of disagreement between myself and EliasAlucard as to who to include, and he recently changed the picture without consulting anybody. So if you could check out the page and perhaps provide some input as to how we can do this vote (if it is a good idea at all). We need to set some guidelines, because people such as EliasAlucard are making major edits without discussing them in the talk page first.
Thanks. Posh bshena.
Wikiproject:Terrorism
editGreetings,
I was hoping I could get some input from you, about the proposed mergerof Wikipedia:WikiProject Terrorism and counter-terrorism with Wikiproject:Terrorism. It seems there's a lot of overlap between the two projects, and if we spent a few days merging the lists of articles, sharing ideas and collaborating on improving the same articles which both projects are focused on improving...we could really make some headway. Whether you're in favour, or against, the idea of a merger - I'd appreciate some feedback regardless. Much thanks. Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 21:36, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Assyria
editAssyrians are called in their language Suroye/Suraye. Assyrian language is called Surayt/Suret. Assyrians speak two dialects: the east dialect and the west dialect. Assyrians have many church dominations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.128.29.220 (talk) 12:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
