Proposed deletion of Deepak Shimkhada

The article Deepak Shimkhada has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail notability guidelines for academics. Looking for citations google scholar turns up the most highly cited article as having only 4 citations: [1]

Deepak Shimkhada article

Hi, I notice that you keep trying to create this article.

Do you have any reliable sources which are independent of Shimkhada, which would verify that he meets the notability criteria? If not, the article will be deleted, and on this occasion it would be protected from being re-created.

If you have some reliable independent sources, could you name them here, along with a summary of what criteria he meets?

  • Are you going to add some sources? Or are you just going to re-create the article which was previously deleted following a discussion here? If you do not add some sourcing soon, showing that he meets the general notability criteria or the criteria for academics, then the article will be deleted, and protected from re-creation as mentioned above. Sourcing is very important on Wikipedia, doubly-so for articles about living people. If you have some reliable independent sources, then that's great - I couldn't find anything apart from his biog at the SOR, which is from his own information, so not independent!
