British/English

edit

Hello.

There's an essay here on British nationality - WP:UKNATIONALS. Have a read, but the basic principle is that we don't change the nationality of stated in articles about people from the British Isles without getting consensus first. If there are bios you feel it is particularly important this should change on please raise on the article talk page.

Hi. 1. The article you mention doesn't exist anymore (it appears with red wording), 2. All those people were born in England, please do not revert correct editing. Have a nice day. Suspicious3 (talk) 05:49, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've corrected the redlink. I will restore the established versions until there's consensus for change on talk.
No, all those people were born in England and all people born in England are referred as English. Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Liam Payne some of the many instances sb can mention. Suspicious3 (talk) 05:52, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Then please also read WP:OTHER. Just because one article calls a person British or English, that does not mean all others bios should be changed.

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Tasmin Archer, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please read WP:UKNATIONALS and take these change to talk before restoring Unbh (talk) 06:04, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Saw this occurring and just thought I would point, @Unbh, that as explained at WP:NOTVANDALISM#Disruptive_editing_or_stubbornness, edit warring is not considered vandalism.
