Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:02, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yep thanks. --Sven Asterix (talk) 20:06, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GeneralNotability (talk) 20:54, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

GeneralNotability As you can see I am pinging you and not setting up an unblock request. After due consideration I decided to accept the block and to be more mindful of insults once it is lifted. There is another reason I am pinging you which is to request parity in punitive measures. I have been blocked for personal attacks, so I ask you how do you intend to deal with Oknazevad who initially referred to me as an ass-hole? Even if as you rightly see I am not the "same ass-hole" as the others, he had no right to call them it either. Given I had never made a single uncivil comment prior to that point and Oknazevad himself is not a new editor, my belief is that a similar length block in his case should be in order. Do you agree? --Sven Asterix (talk) 23:03, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the ping; first, I'd like to say that I appreciate your reflection. I am willing to give Oknazevad a little more leeway since they are pretty clearly being harassed by someone (as seen at the sockpuppet investigation, there have been at least three accounts intentionally reverting them). With that in mind, you're right, Oknazevad should not have used that language, and I will give them a warning. GeneralNotability (talk) 00:53, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
