Hi Steph! I may have accidentally wrote on your user page? Sorry. I hope this shows up on your talk page. Feel free to delete my other post :) KPhillips13 (talk) 04:59, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Greeting
editHello. I am a designated online Wikipedia online volunteer for the Neurobiology (Spring 2014) class in which you have enrolled. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have about how to use or edit Wikipedia. I can be reached by posting at User talk:DESiegel. You could also post any questions at the Help desk, which is a page for anyone with a question about how to edit Wikipedia. DES (talk) 15:46, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editI see that you edited Cranioscopy to add a link. Good! However when you edit an article, please use an Edit summary. It makes things significantly easier for other editors who may be reviewing the history of the article, or your list of Wikipedia contributions. Thank you. DES (talk) 00:37, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Practice Message
editHi there! Just leaving a practice message. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EmmaAWeber (talk • contribs) 04:38, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Hey! I think I did actually forget my signature. Thanks for letting me know! But I think as long as we're logged in it shows who posted it. Thanks!!! 8466jacoba (talk) 16:33, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, 8466jacoba, all changes come with a history. If you are logged in this shows your username, if not it shows your IP address. However, if the comment was made some time ago on a busy page, digging the attribution out of a large number of history entries can be quite tedious, which is one reason why a signature is requested and whey unsigned posts have attributions added (as above) by automated processes (such as "SineBot") and by humans if the bot didn't get to one. Please do try to remember to sign talk page posts. DES (talk) 16:54, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Draft page
editI see you have been at work on User:Syeager.93/draftproposal. This is good. I urge you to consider waht form of source citations you plan to use, inline references/footnotes, shortened footnotes with a reference list, or another foramt. See WP:CITE and WP:REFB for some examples and details.
Also, I added the {{userspace draft}} template to the top, since you now have some significant content, and is should be mark3ed as a draft in progress.
Also I converted the <br> tags to blank lines, which work better in Wikipedia. Note that initial indents with tabs or blank spaces will put a paragraph into "prefix" mode, which is suitable for computer code and similar content, but not for ordinary text. I hope this is all helpful. DES (talk) 18:41, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
