2024 Grand Slam of Darts - qualifying criteria

edit

The PDC posted the qualifying rules for the 2024 Grand Slam at https://www.pdc.tv/news/2024/08/23/2024-mr-vegas-grand-slam-darts-qualification-latest

On that page it says: "If the 24 places are not filled from TV event winners, runners-up and additional qualifiers, winners from the 2024 PDC European Tour and then Players Championship events could also secure Grand Slam spots."

The current version of the Wikipedia 2024 Grand Slam page page says: "If the list of qualifiers from the main tournaments produced fewer than the required number of players (16), the field will be filled from the reserve lists."

I think that the European Tour text should be changed to reflect the PDC's published information.

I also think that the Additional Qualifiers should be moved above the European Tour list because based on the PDC article the Additional Qualifiers have lower priority than the TV events, but higher priority than the European Tour.

Also, the corrected text in the European Tour would refer to the Additional Qualifiers, and I think it's better to have something referenced precede the referencing text.

Yes, I also follow the pdc page. But the Grand Slam wiki page is perfect as it is now. (+1 ref added). We will not change the order, as we have done so far, we are also now looking at the rank of the events. The Pdc did not list it by rank in the article, it was simply described as such. Thanks.
