Hello, I wanted to let you know why I removed your recent edit at Gay Lib v. University of Missouri. The first sentence made absolutely no sense. Please take a look:

Students seeking formal recognition from the University of Missouri that would allow students from all different identities to gain formal recognition.

Aside from not being a complete sentence, and half of the wording being repeated, I cannot tell what's being said here. Do you just mean "Students sought formal recognition from the University of Missouri"?

Because your submission also contained multiple other errors (style, grammar, citation, and formatting), I need to make sure you have read the Manual of Style.

Using the Preview function will help you see how your edits will appear, before making them public. It can help you avoid errors. I'll attach a message about that below.

You are welcome to add content to the article, but you need to address these issues first. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 21:42, 25 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Gay Lib v. University of Missouri, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "publish changes" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 21:42, 25 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
