Orphaned non-free media (File:Doctor Who - The Angels Take Manhattan.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Doctor Who - The Angels Take Manhattan.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:14, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Time of the Doctor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dan Starkey (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Citations
editYour recent contributions to Doctor Who (series 8) weren't reliably sourced. I was about to just undo them, but then I decided to look it up and found that it was true. So I found and provided a source. However, in most situations, your edits would have merely been reverted. When adding new information, a source is needed. Thank you! Attribution
editThis is mainly a technicality, but since with this edit to Deep Breath (Doctor Who) you copied a paragraph directly from Doctor Who (series 8), you probably should have included an edit summary properly attributing the material. Thanks. G S Palmer (talk • contribs) 17:44, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
DYK for Deep Breath (Doctor Who)
editOn 23 July 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Deep Breath (Doctor Who), which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that a rough cut of "Deep Breath", the first episode of the eighth series of Doctor Who, was leaked online six weeks before the episode was due to air? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Deep Breath (Doctor Who). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
Request for episode times on Doctor Who Series 8
editHi, I added the "50 mins" duration for Robot of Sherwood, you changed it to 47 mins, I changed it to 50 and you removed it. Instead of editing it again, I have added a section to the talk page. Please add your views there as the rest of the article is inconsistent. Thanks! JamminBen (talk) 18:20, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:13, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

The article Doctor Who Prom (2013) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No independent reliable citations given about this event (transwiki to a Who fan wiki if appropriate). The one RS citation given is on a tangential fact and not about this event.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bondegezou (talk) 18:12, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
