I noticed your editing on some Arkansas state highway pages. Thank you for the edits, I have been working (on and off) for years on improving those articles, and I am glad to see another editor interested in the subject. I have made a few edits to your work at Highway 310, to keep that article in line with some of the standards I have established for other state highway articles. As far as references, the maps here, here, and here are pretty useful in my article writing. I have come up with some unofficial "standards" to help streamline things here, but WP:USRD also has a lot of useful information for beginners. The US Roads WikiProject people are helpful and have a lot of quality articles I use as go-bys. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Welcome and thanks again! Disambiguation link notification for February 11
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jefferson Public Radio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KWCA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 16:19, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Arkansas Highway 17 moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Arkansas Highway 17, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Formatting tips for new articles
editI'd like to offer a few formatting suggestions for new articles you're creating.
- Headings are rendered in sentence case per MOS:HEAD. That means "Route description" is correct, but "Route Description" with the capital "D" is not. Ditto "Major Intersections" vs. "Major intersections" and "Spur Route" vs. "Spur route".
- Because {{jct}} outputs highways with their abbreviations, you'll want to introduce them in the text and use them. Once you've mentioned any highway of a specific classification by spelling out its name followed by the abbreviation, feel free to abbreviate any other highway of that same classification on first mention.
- The jct template uses "AR #", you should use that format too for consistency.
- {{Convert}} is your friend at formatting conversions. It can even spell out round-number measurements for numbers under 10 in keeping with standard English by using
|spell=in
: two miles (3.2 km). - You'll want to use full citations and not bare URLs. There are various citation templates that will help with this.
Hopefully these quick tips help. Imzadi 1979 → 00:19, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Hey there, thank you for letting me know! I personally didn't know about these tips before, and I'll use them when making future pages on other highways. TBKS1 (talk) 01:09, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
