E-Spice

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article E-Spice, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Astronaut, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -MBK004 16:30, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Astronaut. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -MBK004 17:03, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the URL you gave as a source for India's plans for astronauts, that URL you gave as a reference, http://www.isro.org/pressrelease/Aug31_2004.htm does not at all mention anything of the sort. It is simply about a person who has "made a difference" in space science. The Times article is interesting, but until an Indian space program actually exists, it is a bit premature to add the term to the article as if it were standard. Further, there are already multiple discussions about the terminology on the article's discussion page, and it has been decided by consensus that every country's translation of the word need not be included in the article. Please read over the various discussions on the talk page about this. Hope you understand. ArielGold 20:21, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you continue to add this information back in (Citing wikipedia is unacceptable), you could be blocked, there is consensus on the talk page with regards to this which you are blatantly disregarding. -MBK004 18:16, 8 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re:Astronaut

Hi buddey I suggest you that keep cool for few days. I'll suggest you that its better to add Indian termenology when ISRO offically declares its manned space program. By the way how did you reached to me? Are you from Mumbai?--Suyogaerospacetalk to me! 08:19, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 08:23, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
