editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Robert Sungenis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brian Harrison. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Adopt-a-user - are you still looking for support?
editHello. You have an "adoptme" template on your Main User page, dating back to Jan 2015. I was wondering if you are still seeking support from the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user scheme?
If you don't, could I ask you to remove it? If you really do want support, please leave it there for a potential adopter to see, though I tend to think the best way is to go to the Adopter list and make direct contact with one of them yourself.
My reason for asking is because the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user scheme automatically generates a list of every user who still has that template on their pages. Adopters use that list to help them find people in genuine need of one-to-one assistance and guidance. Over the last 24hrs I've managed to whittle out all the inactive users from that list, from 109 people down to just under 30 active ones like you. Now I'm contacting those users who look like they know what they're doing, and invite them to remove the template if they're not seeking support any more.
Please don't think I'm trying to pressurise you. I'm just trying to make a failing system work again in the interests of all users in need of support and guidance. If you do still want to be adopted, just leave it there. Of course, we also have our friendly Teahouse where newcomers can ask any questions about editing that they're stuck over. Changes in your adoption status
editHi there, I'm messaging you to let you know that I've removed Template:Adopt me from your user page because you have been inactive for at least 30 days. If you are active again, you are welcome to add the template to your userpage anytime. -- Gabrielchihonglee-Bot (talk) 09:44, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
