Personal thanks and welcome to Wikipedia!

Hi, I just wanted to personally say thanks again for finally showing up and speaking out on my talk page. As you may know, this issue came up just about a week ago (it's what apparently got me indefed on Wikimedia Commons) and has been driving me borderline insane ever since. They also opened an outrageous request global lock case that involves me, you and some inactive user named Hpyounes. That is currently "in progress" and (as of now) has not yet been decided. Anyway, I am now even more certain it will be re-evaluated and dismissed now that you spoke out, so that may have been a big help. I did you the 'favor' of starting your talk page here for you, I'd recommend you start something in your userpage too (the red on your name isn't exactly a good look when you sign). @EdDakhla, sure thing, glad I could be of some help. As for me to start "making contributions" on Wikipedia, I think I'll pass on that one. I think I'm way too opinion-oriented and have very strong positions on certain topics (it's what ultimately got me blocked on Commons), so I have no place for Wikipedia, it's just not for me. Unless something like this comes up again, I don't think I'll be coming back to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons any time soon, even if my block for Commons is lifted. I appreciate the gesture and I'll take your advice and type something to create my User page so the red can go away.
