editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Donna Douglas, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. editPlease do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Leigh-Allyn Baker. Thank you. Birth info requires references - see WP:BLPPRIVACY Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:19, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
- And those references are supposed to come from reliable secondary sources with some indication that the subject is OK with the release of the info. We are not supposed to use public records for personal info per WP:BLPPRIMARY. Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:42, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

Duck Dynasty Birthdays
editI wanted to ask you about some of your edits to the Duck Dynasty page. You cited the book for some of their birthdays. I don't have the book so I can't look at it but does it actually say what day and year their birthday is in the book definitively? And for using Twitter as a source for some of the others, I personally don't have a problem with it but I know many others on here would, simply because of something not being clear. What I mean by that is I see you linked it to a tweet where the cast member thanks everyone for wishing them a happy birthday, but does it actually say somewhere that that particular day is their birthday? Because sometimes people get wished happy birthday and they might not thank everyone until maybe a day or two later. So I see you took the date from when they tweeted "thanks", but is there a tweet that actually says, "this day is my birthday"? Please let me know. Thanks.Zdawg1029 (talk) 15:18, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
Biographies of living persons policy
editYour contributions to Duck Dynasty and Phil Robertson have violated the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy for the following reason: Adding birthdates without reliable sourcing (such as using this tweet to add an entirely unsourced year of birth) and changing dates related to age and biographical material in contradiction of sources cited in the article, as here (source) in spite of prior warnings. Please read the policy carefully, and avoid making future edits which violate it.
Remember that Wikipedia articles can affect real people's lives. We have an ethical and legal responsibility to ensure that biographical content is written with the greatest care and attention to verifiability, neutrality and avoiding original research, particularly if it is contentious. Consider this your only warning, made pursuant to the requirements of this Arbitration remedy. Further edits in violation of policy will result in special enforcement sanctions, which could include restrictions on reverts or other specified behavior, bans from editing any BLP or BLP-related page or set of pages, blocks of up to one year in length, or any other measures which may be considered necessary.
