I would like to say to please include links. You can do that by putting [[wp/osm/article|article]] in your articles. Use the | so it just shows up as a link without wp/osm at the beginning. For example, if you want to link to an article about Ottoman turkish language (لسان عثمانی), you write

[[wp/osm/لسان عثمانی|لسان عثمانی]] (without the nowikis)

and you will get لسان عثمانی.

By the way, it's interestin to note that could have possibly been the first Ottoman language article ever written on the internet.

Anadilim Türkçe olduğu gibi Osmanlıca da (bir miktar - iddialı olacak değilim) biliyorum.

Osmanlıca vikinin açılması elbette kurallara aykırı değil. Benim de itirazım zaten kurallara aykırı olmasından değildi.

Öte yandan Osmanlıca bir "ölü dil". Yazılmış bir şeyi okumaya yönelik bir ölü dil eğitiminden geçtik (Osmanlıca "bilenler"). Dolayısıyla en azından ben (Aşıkpaşazade, Neşri, Naima vb okuyabilmeme rağmen) oturup Osmanlıca bir makale yazamam.

Ölü dillerin vikileri var. Ama kalitelerini keşke bir değerlendiren bize söylese.

Bahsettiğiniz Osmanlıca metinlerin elektronik ortama aktarılması ihtiyacını ben de şiddetle hissediyorum. Hatta bu şekilde aktarılmış metinlerin elektronik ortamda otomatik transkripsiyonu ve bir miktar günümüz lehçesine çevrimi ile ilgili bir takım projelerim bile vardı. (halen var ama uygulamak için ayıracak zamanı doğru dürüst bulamıyorum).

Fakat bu bir wikisource projesi.

Her ikisini de yapan olur mu? Bence olmaz. Ve Ottoman wiki'dense Ottoman wikisource'u görmeyi tercih ederim.

İtirazım bu yönde idi. Osmanlıca bir şeyler olmasın değil, Ottoman wikisource olsun derim.

Ben fikrimi söyledim. Zaten azınlıktayım. Osmanlıca oturup makale yazacak değilim, böyle bir iddiayı da açıkçası hafif abartılı buluyorum. Osmanlıca wiki, hangi yüzyıl Osmanlıca'sını kullanıyor? :) Yoksa sadece eski yazı ile günümüz Türkçesini yazıp bir takım çok bariz yeni kelimelerden imtina edince lisan-ı Osmani konuşmuş mu oluyoruz?

Ama Ottoman wikisource yapacak olursanız elimden geldiğince katkıda bulunurum, sonuna kadar desteklerim ve gerçekten ihtiyaç olan bir şey yapmış olduğunuzu düşünürüm.

Merhaba. Geçenlerde oy verdigimi hatirliyorum, Siberyaca wikide çikan bazi olaylardan sonra kurallarin degisitigini duymustum ama eski oylamalari etkileyecegini zannetmiyordum. Yine de gidip tekrar oy verdim. Siberyaca wikideki olay nedir? Bazi sorunlar çiktigini duydum, o yuzden aslinda karsi oy vermistim. Eger bilmedigim baska bir seyler varsa oyumu degistirebilirm. Çift alfabe konusundaki ısrarımı şu nedenlerden ötürü sürdürmek istiyorum;

• 20. YY Osmanlıcası kullandığımız için, Cumhuriyetin ilanından sonraki yıllarda kullanılan dil, arındırma çalışmalarına değin yine Osmanlıca idi. Osmanlıca kesinlikle çift alfabeyi yaşamıştır. Bugün de Osmanlıca eserler latin alfabesinde yazılabilmektedir.

• Osmanlıca Viki'nin hem Arap, hem de Latin alfabelerinde hazırlanmasının çok büyük bir avantajı olacaktır: Daha çok kullanıcının katılımı ve daha çok kullanıcının takibi. Öncelikli alfabe Arap alfabesi olmalı, ama Latin alfabesi de bulunmalı. Katılım ve makale azlığından yakınmıştınız, bu sorunu rahatlıkla çözecektir.

• Bir diğer avantaj, Osmanlıca'nın genç nesillerce öğrenilmesinin kolaylaştıracağıdır. Orijinal alfabe (Arap) öncelikli; ama Latin alfabede makaleler de içeren bir Osmanlıca Wiki'nin bu etkisi kesinlikle olacaktır.

Unsigned, dört adet tilda (~) simgesini yanyana koymayı unutmuş yazarlar için. Wikipedia üyeliği yetmez. MetaWiki'den üyelik açıp, yazdıklarının sonuna bunu eklemeleri gerekiyor. Cihanda Sulh

Selâm. Would you be able to tell me how Cihanda Sulh should be written using the Ottoman Turkish alphabet? A friend of mine recently moved into a flat in a building with the name Cihan Apartmanı, and I'd like to give him a calligraphic rendering of Cihanda Sulh to hang on the (still bare) walls. I think Cihan is جهان, but is Cihanda Sulh then جهاﻨﺪ صلح? Although not as embarassing as for a tattoo, it would be painful to go through the effort of creating nice calligraphy, only to find out the slogan contains a spelling error.
