I think this sentence is a bit awkward 'Conservation-restoration of specimens are performed by registrars, curators, and conservators on herbarium collections in universities and museums.' - while it may be true, it sounds awkward, like saying 'plumbing is performed by plumbers or plumbers assistants or people interested in plumbing', it doesn't necessarily give more information about the topic. It could be removed or it the links are important I think instead of saying 'Conservation-restoration . . . is performed' you could say 'Decisions about the conservation-restoration of specimens are performed by registrars, curators, and conservators.'
