Disputed fair use rationale for Image:G33637fpurw.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:G33637fpurw.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:48, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Phineas and Ferb first_aired see template:Infobox Television#Usage

edit

Just and explanation why I undid one of your edits.

From the description of the infobox television template parameters:

"first_aired The first day the show aired."

We are not an arm of Disney marketing. Disney first aired the show Aug 17, 2007. It is pure marketing that they called it a "Sneak Peek" and they want to say the series premiered Feb 1. I would like to stick to actual facts in the article, not Disney spin. The fact that they called the Feb 1 date the series premiere is something that probably belongs in the article but not in the infobox. --NrDg 00:02, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: American Idol 7 Elimination Songs

edit

It looks like it's definitely going to be the Ruben Studdard song from Top 12 to the end, so having another long table would come off as completely unnecesary. I would suggest the info be worked somewhere else into the article in sentence form. Gwynand (talk) 12:32, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Unwrittenalbumus.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Unwrittenalbumus.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:37, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

American Idol (season 7) Elimination Night Songs

edit

Sorry I did not mean to delete the section you changed even though it looks like I called it vandalism. I was trying to revert the four prior edits. I noticed what I did and tried to add the section back in but by that time I got an edit conflict because you had already added it back. Sorry for the mix-up. Identified

edit

Can you point me at a reliable source for "Identified"? So far, everything tracks back to one fansite (www.vanessa-hudgens.com, which doesn't even list that title as confirmed) and one gossip site (tommy2.net). If there's a reliable one, let me know. If there isn't, please don't add it back in.Kww (talk) 00:43, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Frequently or usually right doesn't count. It still posts rumors, and doesn't meet WP:RS.Kww (talk) 23:40, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Stop adding that information until it is confirmed by a source that meets WP:RS.Kww (talk) 00:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I was already here ... never said it wasn't true, I said that you didn't have a reliable source. Big difference. That's why the album article is up for deletion. Wait a few days for an official source to show up, and everything will be fine.Kww (talk) 02:13, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hot Digital Songs

Just as airplay-only charts should not be included, same goes for sales-only charts. Exceptions are made to songs that do not chart on the "main" singles charts. Same applies to tables per WP:CHARTS - eo (talk) 15:38, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
