Hi Diannaa, I appreciate you reviewing the article I've been working on recently. I'm terribly sorry, I didn't realize this would be a copyright violation. As far as the source it says I obtained my information from, I've never seen the pdf before. I know the website where I obtained the information from shares the same information from the pdf. I'm editing the article for my final project for my biology course. Could you clarify more what I did specifically and is there any way I could contact an administrator about this? Thank you. Hello Tds018. I am a Wikipedia administrator. It's not unusual for the same text to be present in multiple locations online. You can view the overlap using Earwig's tool. In addition to the overlapping content, there's a lot of too-close paraphrasing. I see you've started a rewrite so I will keep an eye on that. While you made some small changes to the sentences, you need to completely re-write them in your own words. There's a more detailed explanation at Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing, if you're interested.
