I've noticed your interest and avid editing on Fête nationale du Québec. I do not know if you're aware of the three revert rule, but it is this: no Wikipedian (not even administrators) is allowed to revert a page more than three times in 24 hours. You already have four reverts on this page today, which means that you are technically in breach of this rule -- that can, unfortunately, get you temporarily blocked. I've no intentions of reporting you to an admin, but some editors might not be so forgiving. We're all glad you have an interest in Wikipedia, but make sure you're careful to follow the rules!

controversy over Quebec article

To JF, I don't mind my link being dropped if it's a policy not to link to blogs however I do object it to it being dropped because you think it stereotypes people. first of all, I've never heard the stereotype that Quebecers are rude and seconcly, there's a difference between racist and rude, and there was zero discussion of race in my post.

I will respect others' decisions on whether my post should remain, however if the traffic to my blog is any indication, people do indeed want to read this post.

Thanks for your understanding. It is indeed Wikipedia policy that personal information cannot be placed in articles, mainly because it is unverifiable. However, assuming that your edits were made in good faith, no harm was done. The link will, of course, be removed, and I hope you understand why. If you have further questions about it, let me know.

The character you type (four times) to sign your posts on talk pages (signing isn't done on articles) is the ~ (tilde), which, if you're on a desktop computer with a standard Qwerty keyboard, ought to be to the left of your 1 key. On a laptop, it's likely somewhere else, possibly next to the spacebar. If your client has a reasonably current Java driver (which it most likely does), you can automatically insert the text by clicking where it says '''Sign your name:<font color="blue">-~~~~</font> below the edit box/buttons.

On another note, leaving messages to other users on my talk page is not likely to reach them. TheJF has his/her own talk page at User talk:TheJF, where your messages are more likely to reach them. Assuming you actually want your messages to be read by the person they're addressed to, that's the place to put them.
