Speedy

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. IrishGuy talk 00:40, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. IrishGuy talk 00:42, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from an article you created, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. IrishGuy talk 00:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD Nomination: The day after... (band)

edit

I've nominated the article The day after... (band) for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that The day after... (band) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The day after... (band). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of The day after... (band) during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. Adoption

edit

Have you considered looking into wiki-adoption? It's a mentoring program here on Wikipedia designed to help new users learn the ropes from a more experienced editor. I'd be willing to adopt you if you like. If you want me to adopt you, just let me know either here or on my talk page, and I'll sort out the paperwork. If you're interested in adoption, but by someone else (don't worry, I won't be offended), then just put the text "{{adoptme}}" on your user page, and another adopter will come and talk to you. Chovain, thanks so much! Yes, please adopt me, adopt me! Cheers, TedKendall 02:59, 21 January 2007 (UTC)TedKendallReply

Great - the first thing we should do is look at look at getting The day after... (band) up to scratch. I'll get the page moved to your userspace in the next few hours, and give you some pointers on what we can do to get it accepted next time. In the meantime, you might want to have a look at WP:BAND. It gives wikipedia's guideline on what is required of a band for them to have their own article. Chovain(t|c) 19:02, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
