editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Loft has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Loft was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/label/391289-The-Loft-Berlin) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 04:08, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Eruption (German band) have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

editHello, I'm SolarFlash. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Black Mass (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SolarFlashDiscussion 16:01, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Led Zeppelin. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:08, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Simple Minds discography, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You have been asked twice above not to reference Discogs as per WP:ALBUMAVOID Robvanvee 17:30, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Black Mass (film); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. SolarFlashDiscussion 19:03, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Led Zeppelin. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:19, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- Be WP:CIVIL. And consider MOS:SEASON, which says we explicitly do NOT say "summer of 1968" because this encyclopedia has a global audience and the seasons are different in the different hemispheres. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:21, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Edit warring
editRegarding edits such as this one [1], please stop it now. Abide by the Manual of Style; it states that the lead section of any article serves to briefly summarize the article's most important points. Edit warring over such nonsense as which season of 1968 the band was formed in is petty, unconstructive, and in violation of the rules. I doubt you'll find much support that something as frivolous as the season the band was formed in is among the article's most important points. So, there's no reason now for it to continue. editPlease do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Brigitte Bardot. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. SolarFlashDiscussion 21:39, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- I need to second User:SolarFlash's comment here. A Wikipedia article does not need to list every instance of the mention of article's subject in every instance of popular culture; otherwise every article would just devolve into a list of references to episodes of The Simpsons. See also [2]. I'm as much of an Elton John fan as anyone else (though I think Honky Chateau is one of his weaker early albums), but just don't see the significance of this throw-away line to an article on Bridget Bardot.
- If you have some WP:RS that discusses the significance of the Bardot mention in the song, go ahead and add it -- with a citation to that source. TJRC (talk) 18:33, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
Reliable sources.
editHi, I've reverted your edits to Hey, Hey, What Can I Do, because a fan-created wiki does not quality as a reliable source under Wikipedia's guidelines. Feel free to check out those rules and, if you find a reliable source for that information, to add it again. Thanks for contributing! Mr. Darcy talk 23:04, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 5
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Temporary Secretary, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page O2 Arena. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
