Dear Tedlau,

Many thanks for the message on my talk page. I have not been checking Wikipedia, owing to a brief holiday, hence my delay in response, but now I have more time to read Wikipedia. When I have looked at the article, I can get back with a fuller response. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 18:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC) I have had a brief perusal of the article on Jungian interpretations on religion now. The coverage of Jung on Western religion is quite good, but there could be extensions to the sections on Jung on Eastern religion (for example, his interest in mandalas of the I Ching); it seems true that Jung did feel affinities with the Western religious traditions (although Christianity more than Judaism or Islam, as reading his collected works will attest) but he also had some interest in Eastern religions, especially Buddhism. Perhaps you could put a wikilink (the square brackets) around Victor White - if some one can start an article on him! There could also be commentary on Jung's controversial book, Antwort Auf Hiob (1952; English translation, Answer to Job. Finally, perhaps the first section, in which it is said that Jung has interested theologians, could have more extensive references than a single reference to article in "Spring", and the ending could be a little less abrupt. I appreciate that this work - as, in a sense, goes for all Wikipedia articles - is still in progress, and I can keep any eye on it and let you my reactions to edits to it. Thank you for doing this - it is appreciated, and shows earnest desire to edit Wikipedia for the better. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 23:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Names of God article

edit

Tedlau, can you please have a look at the article and the discussion on the talk page. A number of sources from interfaith/ecumenical perspective were added to the summary of the list. However it seems one (and only one) objector to the existence of the article does not take sources and references seriously. Thank you, Wikidas© 08:54, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for taking over 'Jungian interpretation of religion' page

edit

Tedlau:

Thank you for editing Jungian interpretation of religion. It's always bothered me to have started something that I thought deserved good work, but was only able to set off (accidentally) to a poor start. My grateful regards.

P.S.: I recommend removing the "no citations" and "original research" tags, since after your work, the article seems to be fixed in both those regards. Tom Lougheed (talk) 02:44, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
