Niguliste kirik

edit

Do you have plans to expand St. Nicholas' Church, Tallinn? And if no, will you mind if I expand it somewhat - if I remember correctly then I have quite nice photos of the inside of church. et:Tallinna Niguliste kirik has some material and I do believe I have some booklets about the church as well (and yes, I do know about WP:OWN, but I think it is better to ask, then to bother you when you are planning to expand the article yourself). -- Sander Säde 07:41, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Go ahead and no need to ask such things in the future. It's more important to expand the articles instead of who exactly is doing it, and your additions are always appreciated. --Termer 15:55, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you - although I am unsure when I can edit the article. I have two lovely 16-hours workdays coming - projects running late, as usual. -- Sander Säde 17:51, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Found the time to edit the article - also nominated to WP:DYK: [1]. Now, time to have my well-deserved beer. -- Sander Säde 17:57, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Closing of Estonian pirates move proposal

edit

Hi Termer, I tried to close the debate following your suggestion, but Irpen seems to have other ideas [2]. Martintg 23:58, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea what this guy is after, I'd let it go, give it some rest and return to this once the dust has settled. In case any baseless accusations are raised anywhere against you again, please let me know. The whole thing up there at Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard there is so far out that...I don't know what to think of it. In any case, since you opened the requested move and its not relevant any more its should be closed by you. It shouldn't be anybody else's business if you withdraw your request.--Termer 00:34, 6 November 2007 (UTC) Reply

Pointless nationalities

edit

I agree that often alternate spellings provide additional information. They should be used if 1) they are used in English or 2) the subject used it himself. Neither of this applies to the Lithuanian spelling in Józef Piłsudski's article.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 05:55, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Like I said, not my business, just a suggestion.--Termer 05:56, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Reply

Encarta "quote"

edit

"The communist ideal was democracy and equality" is not what is written in the Encarta article, it's what Dwarf Kirlston said, I don't know why he put it in quotation marks.--Miyokan 06:58, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kuperjanov's Partisan Battalion

edit

Hi FayssalF, just noticed that you had labeled or categorized the Kuperjanov's Partisan Battalion Military history WikiProject |Russian=yes . The thing is the Battalion was not Russian but in fact fought against Russia during the Estonian War of Independence and the guys were even not Slavic but Finnic. I might be wrong but I think it was you who added the same category |Russian=yes to another Estonia related article. The thing was I replaced it with -Estonian or Estonia but then someone commented that there is no such a task force on WP. So, could you help me out setting up such a task force as I'd be cladly part of it. I'm not that familiar with exact procedure therefore any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks --Termer 20:46, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Termer. Creating a new Baltic task force would be a good idea. I've just started a discussion here. The thing is that in order to create a task force, we need enough interested people to work on. I hope there would be enough. Please participate at the thread linked above. Thanks. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 16:42, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mothander DYK

edit

The article is improving and I think I have learnt something. I wrote this too

OK? (or should it say book?) Victuallers 09:49, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Victuallers! The one that was banned and was about the politics was his first book. another one was about Estonian Swedes and their language and I don't think it was banned anywhere.--Termer 10:02, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
