pics
editI like the pic that you uploaded for the Beyoncé article, its really sexy, but do you think it is a very appropriate photo to head her biography? Why dont we find a more dignified photo and put yours further down in the article. u ok with this?
I also noticed that you kind of uploaded it over my photo. Im not accusing, but could you please check that your photo does not have the same name as one already uploaded in the encyclopedia, this might cause minor discrepancy.
By the way, do you happen to remember the source from which the pic was downloaded? If you do, thatd be great. Thanks man.
By the way, you said that your octave range was A2-E6; thats only 3 octaves and 5 notes, not 4+ octaves. Just thought Id let you know :) Journalist 02:30, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
Thanks but it's not about how high my note is. it's the range that i can go. my longest note is 18 seconds
- I reiterate, could you PLEASE make sure that you DO NOT upload photos over ones that other people have already uploaded? Its ill mannered. Thank you

- No, everyone must cite information, including me. --Yamla 01:23, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
I have placed a tag on the article Tevin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person but it does not indicate how or why that person is notable. If the person really is notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly to indicate why, and also put a note on Talk:Tevin. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles.

Your userpage
editHi. Just wanted to let you know that some anon user has made 120+ edits to your userpage for the past three days. If it is you, it'd be nice if you could mention it in the summary edit, so others won't have to wonder if it's a vandal or not... Bjelleklang - talk 00:08, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Cited information
editPlease do not change cited information, such as what you did on the Bow Wow page, without citing your change. This is generally considered vandalism. You may well (in fact, probably are) right in this case but you must still WP:CITE your change. For now, I have reverted it. --Yamla 05:16, 25 December 2005 (UTC)

Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/Tables for charts, hash symbols are redundant when used before chart positions in chart tables as readers will already know that the numbers represent chart positions, and number ones shouldn't be bolded as it implies POV. - The above comments applies for Alicia Keys as well. Please make sure that your edits are in unison with Wikipedia's style guidelines. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 23:50, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. "Do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users." Please keep this is mind while editing. Thanks, --NaconKantari 02:25, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
redirecting disambiguation pages
editPlease don't turn disambiguation pages into redirect pages as with DC3. It causes problems which results in wikilinks being redirected to completely unrelated articles. Disambiguation pages by their nature are linked to by a range of different subjects. What would be better would be to click on 'what links here' (in the box on the left hand side) and go to the related articles and change the wikilinks there so that they do go to the right place. Otherwise you get articles about airlines linking to articles about pop groups when in fact they mean to link to articles about airplanes. Please leave a note on my talk page if you want to discuss. Thanks. -- Adz 11:34, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Stay1.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Stay1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 07:15, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Carl Sturken, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Malaine, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Non-free use disputed for Image:LovingThatYouWant.jpg
editThis file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:LovingThatYouWant.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:46, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
