Hi there,

I'd be happy to adopt you! Consider yourself adopted! What did you have in mind for me as an adopter? Do you have any questions or things you'd like me to do?

Congratulations!

Congratulations on your recent adoption, Texasjune, and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw that you have expressed an interest in being adopted by an experienced editor. Being an experienced editor myself, I accepted your request. Whether you want to learn about wiki markup, find something to do, or just talk to somebody, I'm the person to see about it - just leave a message on my [[User talk:{{{1}}}|talk page]]. Remember, I am willing to help you and make your time here more enjoyable. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, and remember to "be BOLD!"- I'm here to help you; no question is a stupid one. In the mean time, here are some pages that you might find helpful, in case you haven't already gotten the official welcoming:

Creating your first article

edit

Well, there is no button   . To create an article, enter the title of the article in the "search" box on the left, and press Go: since the article shouldn't exist already, their should be a red link on the results page, saying "Create this page". Click that and copy your text in the box. To insert links to other articles, surround words by these brackets: and . A wikilink will appear, a blue one if the article exists, a red one if it doesn't. More information can be found at: Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia.

Don't hesitate to ask more questions, and let me know the title of your article once you've posted it.

Furthermore, you should sign everything you say on talk pages (not articles, just everything with talk, like User_talk or just Talk: ), you can do that using the tenth button on the edit bar, which says "your signature with timestamp" when your mouse hovers above it.

Enjoy Wiki, grtz Steven F --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 11:26, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
