Templates

edit

I notice you recently created {{Country data Ganja}}, {{Country data Khankendi}}, {{Country data Hanoi}}, {{Country data Al Quds}}, {{Country data Stepanakert}}, and {{Country data Khankendi}}. However, none of these are used in any articles. Azccording to Wikipedia:Template namespace#Guidelines they may be nominated for deletion. You should add all of them to at least two pages.   Hello, I'm Remsense. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Port Vila, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Remsense 16:27, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Louisville city flag

edit

Here are the problems I see with your repeated changing of Louisville's city flag:

  1. The new image changes the city's flag colors rather dramatically.
  2. The new image is copied from ebay, which brings up concerns about potential promotion and not knowing where the image really came from.
  3. No edit summary or discussion - if you're changing a city's flag, especially from a longstanding version, you need to see what editors think first. This is common wikisense.

Please don't change the flag again unless you have addressed the above concerns. Changing a city's flag repeatedly, especially without discussion, may be seen by many editors as "disruptive". Stefen 𝕋owers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 19:00, 10 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

please, you need to edit that, and i am not trying to promote, it just is because i can"t overwrite the low res version   Tgbsww (talk) 03:45, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Nothing to edit that I see, as the smell of promotion is there even if unintentional. You still have not provided a complete rationale for the replacement of the flag, and "higher res" that also changes colors doesn't seem to be convincing enough. At any rate, if you're going to make such a change of a longstanding image, including effectively changing its colors, there needs to be a wider community discussion. Also consider the idea that this change probably isn't necessary and perhaps your time could be better used doing something else here in the Wikipedia. Stefen 𝕋owers among the rest!
