Orange (colour)
editPlease see the top of the talk page for previous move requests and FAQs. For your information, there are three other major colour articles (Blue, Grey and Cream (colour)) that use British spelling, and about 20 minor ones (i.e. Straw (colour) and Buff (colour). The relevant guideline is WP:ENGVAR; consistency is irrelevant. Black Kite (talk) 17:05, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Should we change Color, then? ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 17:14, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Oh right... Consistency is IRRELEVANT. ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 19:20, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Dreth. I noticed that you made an edit to Wikipedia:Sandbox which didn't appear to conform with our policies and guidelines; I have removed it for now. AIV
editIf you cannot even follow the basic format for filling out AIV reports, how do you expect anyone to take you OR the report seriously? The current version of the report is more annoying that the IP could ever be... ES&L 15:06, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
I'm just angry at the IP. ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 15:06, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- That's not a reason to become disruptive yourself. The next time you do something like this it might be you who gets blocked, too. Like everything else on Wikipedia, the AIV board is maintained by volunteers and it's not a 24/7 rapid response service. So if there's no immediate action taken following an initial report that's unfortunate but we all will have to deal with it. De728631 (talk) 15:24, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- Indeed. If you become angry enough to act like that online, then it's probably time to logoff and go for a walk or something. Nothing online should get you that "angry" ES&L 16:29, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- This will not happen again; I was just sick of the I.P. ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 17:52, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
You may want to see the UW Templates as they are usefull
editHello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you.
- see my Template here. Thanks Dreth 23:01, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
Reference Errors on 7 December
editHello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:25, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Oops. The person who referenced did a very poor job. Fixed now. ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 00:35, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
my contribution about the Internet Hype around the Iraqi Dinar: why 'Vandalism'???
editI see that you kicked my little paragraph with reference in the article 'Iraqi dinar' as 'vandalism'...
I have some difficulties to understand that. I think the widespread 'Dinar Reval' hype on the Internet is a fascinating phenomena in the wide field of the Internet-related sub-cultures with their different 'communities'; the irrationality of the expectations of this specific community (the 'Dinarians') makes it quite singular... Observing 'communities' like this is sort of a hobby horse of mine, and I consider the 'Reval'-thing a particularly interesting subject.
So I consider a few remarks in the article of the currency, that is in the center of this 'movement', fully justified.
Therefor my humble request: please reconsider your suppression!

I think that this is more of "weird guys on the internet" than actual data. ThatRusskiiGuy (talk) 23:39, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:06, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
