Orphaned non-free media (File:Dethalbum3Deluxe.JPG)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dethalbum3Deluxe.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:28, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Live At Leeds (The Rolling Stones album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ian Stewart (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia is an uncensored website. Davidravenski (talk) 17:52, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
...which is why I said thanks...? I had tried to make that edit and the filter stopped me. I posted it to Wikipedia:Edit filter/False positives/Reports; I thought you made the edit because of my post there, thus my thanks. In any case, keep up the good work. 173.48.114.149 (talk) 23:06, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Oh nah I didn't see it, I was just browsing around wiki and noticed it. Why couldn't you edit it? Davidravenski (talk) 23:39, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Dunno. I'm guessing the filter stops IPs from making edits that insert certain words into articles. 173.48.114.149 (talk) 11:15, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Metal Archives

Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that Metal Archives is not a reliable source. It can be edited by anyone, and those edits have no editorial oversight, so it doesn't qualify as a reliable source. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 18:06, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yea I figured but it's better than nothing, I just wanted to make the pages more presentable. Thanks!Davidravenski (talk) 18:13, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
