editHello, TheDoctorsPR. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.
Based on your username it looks like you have a conflict of interest related to The Doctors TV show. In such cases you generally should not edit the article. Also please be mindful of WP:ORGNAME. I've also started a thread at our conflict of interest noticeboard where editors more experienced with dealing in conflict of interest might be of help here Kingofaces43 (talk) 19:58, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

- Who do you mean by "we"? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:46, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
I am interested in updating information on behalf of The Doctors. I will be the one making changes. If it is easier, I am happy to provide an admin updated information, lists, etc. to be verified, vet and you all can make the page changes. I have no other agenda than to keep information current and correct. Really not subversive or malicious or with a conflict of interest at all. In fact, I'd think your administrators would welcome contributors who can verify and actually make these pages more up to date and relevant. Thank you. TheDoctorsPR (talk) 19:09, 11 November 2015 (UTC)not sure which username to use (your instructions and rules are very confusing)
- Wikipedia does not allow any user to edit "on behalf" of anybody else. Also, any user that is in any way connected to the article subject should declare his WP:Conflict of interest. Since your current username is "TheDoctorsPR", it appears that you are some kind of PR agent of The Doctors. Please, explain your connection to the subject and explain what you mean when you say you will edit "on behalf" of The Doctors. Thanks. Vanjagenije (talk) 20:59, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
