  • The Reply Tool feature, which is a part of Discussion Tools, will be opt-out for everyone logged in or logged out starting 7 February 2022. Editors wishing to comment on this can do so in the relevant Village Pump discussion.

  • Access to Special:RevisionDelete has been expanded to include users who have the deletelogentry and deletedhistory rights. This means that those in the Researcher user group and Checkusers who are not administrators can now access Special:RevisionDelete. The users able to view the special page after this change are the 3 users in the Researcher group, as there are currently no checkusers who are not already administrators. (T301928)
  • When viewing deleted revisions or diffs on Special:Undelete a back link to the undelete page for the associated page is now present. (T284114)

Sirio

It would probably be best if you leave the unblock discussion to us admins. Thanks, --Deepfriedokra (talk) 02:44, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

@Deepfriedokra: This is why I didn't want to touch the unblock request in any way. That said, since I have been named directly in both requests, I thought I might at least defend myself slightly, even if what they propose doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of coming to pass. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 02:47, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Sometimes the less said, the better. You are making it a personal conflict instead of a cut-and-dried deficient unblock request. Ignore them. Fighting with them will only prove to them that they are right instead of understanding the reasons for their block. Best --Deepfriedokra (talk) 02:52, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
...you're right. I've certainly my own worries today, not least of which is an election in my home country and some real life work. In any case. I have no plans to intervene further on Sirio's talk page. Let's believe in the snowball's chance, shall we? Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 02:55, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
I see that Sirio tried goading me into answering their unanswerable question. However, I will not be answering it; I'm washing my hands of all this. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 03:14, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Autoconfirmed users will be able to access basic information about an IP address that includes the country and connection method. Those with advanced privileges (admin, bureaucrat, checkuser) will have access to extra information that includes the Internet Service Provider and more specific location.

How do I treat this?

Sorry to bother you. I removed the PA as you suggested[1] with the RPA tag, but the user reverted it[2]. Now he says again that I'm "sugarcoat[ing] Kasidiaris' criminal past and neo-Nazi ties". What should I do? If I shouldn't be asking here, please let me know. I don't know the hierarchy on WP. AkisAr-26 (talk) 06:07, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

I would ask for an explanation on WP:ANI, personally. Note that while I disagree with the revert I will not be the one to revert the revert. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 09:37, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Ok. Thank you. AkisAr-26 (talk) 10:16, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

ANI Close Typo?

Hi, on this ANI close, you wrote that it was purely a conduct matter. Did you mean to write "content"? Apologies if this is a waste of your time! EducatedRedneck (talk) 01:14, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Yeah... that's what I meant. I'll go fix it now. The close is already kind of an edge case, since it's so early, but I thought it was worth it. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 05:47, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
