Pectin discoveries!, Fiber madness!, My argyles!, Cardigans! and....Roald Dahl!?!?! Oh my!
editAhem. Monsieur Earl buey. Tallyho! While browsing through that wonderful "preserves" article you recommended me I inevitably went to the Pectin article. Perhaps you have been to this already but WOW! A natural micro-powder in-between cell walls in plants and fruit!?!? AWESOME! I really had no idea that Pectin is in so many things we eat! Capital!
The Pectin article then of course led to Dietary fiber! This is indeed amazing as well! Learning the differences between soluble and insoluble fiber....GREAT! Particularly capital is that, how, when we eat a plum, the skin is insoluble and the pulp inside is soluble! Interesting! I mean, the complex intracacies of a PLUM! Wonderful! What a great find. The estimation of the average deficit of dietary fiber most of us get is....yikes! We must increase our intake of this wonderful substance!
I have an announcement......SOCKS!!!!!(sock)- Yes. Indeed. I really appreciate socks. So comfy, soft, yeah. Nice. Particularly Argyle (pattern) socks! I also MUCH appreciate SWEATERS!!! Lately the Cardigan (sweater) has been on my mind in particular. Notice how Roald Dahl is a noted wearer of the cardigan!! NICE!
7 Wonders, Blunders, and Birds
editDear Earl buey. Many thanks for the new articles! I've seen the Salinger one already,-well, actually the page I've seen was The Catcher in the Rye, but you probably went to that one too because of the link on the Salinger page, although you might not want to go to it because it might spoil your reading of the book! The Graecian articles were a delight! I didn't know that Aeschylus wrote before Sophocles! Interesting...Anyways, here are a few articles I've been looking at lately chap! Ciao!
Waste of funds
editSeven Wonders of the World-There are some very interesting links on this one as well. Like the "new 7 wonders" and Ghandi's "7 blunders"-----Notice how only one of these "7 wonders" is even still around! Tisk tisk. Man and his silly, arrogant ventures! Don't get me wrong, these things are quite interesting indeed, but a silly and appauling waste of public funds none-the-less! Interesting fact: the colossus at rhodes was only 3/4 the size of the statue of liberty!---laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! Come on ancient Greece you can do better than that!
Beautiful birds!
editHummingbirds-We get these in my backyard and I LOVE these beautiful animals! Some of the facts about them are absolutely INCREDIBLE! Two other birds I've been watching lately-Mourning dove and New World oriole. FO SHOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Cosmic fun
