Request reason:

I have changed the password on this public account. TheM62Manchester troll group (aka a group of 16-year-olds doing GCSEs have agreed not to use Wikipedia, and as such are no longer allowed to access the local area network any longer. If you unblock the IP 82.42.145.158, I can guarantee the vandalism will not happen again. The promise that vandalism from this IP address will cease are now true; I have educated the people concerned that wikis are not a plaything, and if you unblock this IP, no more vandalism will occur, and I mean this for real. Unblock the IP, and you can be assured there is no more vandalism. Also, while 82.42.145.158 may have had a history of vandalism, it was during school holidays, and now the people concerned are no longer interested in Wikipedia, please unblock this so a legitimate editor can create an account. Vandalism has ceased, will cease and is no longer happening.

Decline reason:

Accounts using the names linked to this account, specifically User:Sunholm, have been in operation since November 2005. I also don't understand why there would be less vandalism during term-time than during holidays. All in all, the IP block just seems a sensible precaution. -- ЯEDVERS 21:42, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
