Michael Myers

edit

The information you are trying to add is irrelevant trivia. It has nothing to do with the character himself and has no business being in a section about his actual appearances in film. Being on television as a "movie" does not constitute appearing in said movie. It's trivial, and Wikipedia does not deal in trivia. If you disagree then I would suggest starting a discussion on the talk page for others to weigh in on their opinion. Otherwise, your "you might as well leave it, because I'll keep adding it" comment indicates that you plan to make this a disruption to the page and if it becomes a disruption then I'll have to report it to an administrator.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 05:26, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please see WP:MOSFILMS#Clean-up. Trivia sections are only relevant when articles are young, this is not the cast with Michael Myers' article. After that, any relevant trivia should be included in an appropriate location. In this case, the fact that the film "Halloween" appears on a television in "Halloween III" is not relevant to the Michael Myers article. It's not even anecdotal. It's a "ha ha" moment, which is not encyclopedic. List it at his Wikia page, where this type of information is better suited. If this was going through a review, any half-decent reviewer would say "why is this even here?" It serves no purpose other than to point out to readers a "ha ha" moment in "Halloween III" - a film that has nothing to do with Michael Myers.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:14, 23 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay Nole, you got me on that. But It does say that trivia and such can still be added in just in an appropriate section. I would really like to include this in the article and do it the right way.I tried todo it on my own, but I guess I just don't know what to do. Can you teach me how to create a section)such as a trivia/anecdote section)? I would be much appreciative, and we could end our pissing contest!!
