Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Randolph Scott, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page To the Last Man. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:13, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please preview, consolidate, and summarize

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Below are a few editing suggestions to make it easier for you and others to collaborate on the encyclopedia. Please preview, consolidate, and summarize your edits:

  • Try to consolidate your edits, at least at the section level, to avoid cluttering the page's edit history; this makes it easier for your fellow editors to understand your intentions, and makes it easier for those monitoring activity on the article.
    • The show preview button (beside the "publish changes" button) is helpful for this; use it to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits.
  • Please remember to explain each edit with an edit summary (box above the "publish changes" button).

Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. Eric talk 12:31, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

List articles and transclusion

edit

Your recent edit removing the "Series overview" table on the List of Maverick episodes article, whether intentional or not, had a major (detrimental) spillover effect. That table is transcluded into the main/parent article Maverick (TV series), so when you removed the <onlyinclude> markup in the list article, you caused the entire list article page to be included in the parent article rather than the overview table. If you're working in Wikipedia:WikiProject Television articles, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with transclusion and MOS:TVOVERVIEW (and MOS:TV in general if you have not already). (Also, if you're at all partial to Western genre, we are trying to revive the Wikipedia:WikiProject Westerns project, so consider joining.) ButlerBlog (talk) 00:12, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm FMSky. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Marlon Brando, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FMSky (talk) 02:58, 19 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
