Hello, I'm Ammarpad. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Flash fiction. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

Request reason:
I was unaware that using a business email address was against the rules, for that I apologize. I have made many contributions to Wikipedia under another username and plan to cease using this one since it is tied to a business. I still do not understand why this blew up however since I was trying to add to the value of the page through an infographic. I tried to explain that and asked for help to just add the infographic instead of an external link. That is when I was banned. I realize that this account will probably never be unbanned, but I felt this needed to be said. For a community that is supposed to help others out and provide information, I was shocked that after I apologized for placing an external link and asked for help on how to rectify the situation and still provide the beneficial information, I was banned. This is counter to being helpful.
Decline reason:
This "blew up" because you added a link to a site which matched your user name. If I added a link to jpgordon.com, the same would happen to me. (Not that I have anything to do with jpgordon.com, as it happens.) You have to change your username if you want to continue editing, and you can't put links to your own websites into Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 00:22, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
