Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Cregmore (Lackagh parish) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Cregmore (Lackagh parish) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://cregmorens.blogspot.com/?m=1) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:58, 18 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sourcing

edit

Hi there. You've had some edits reverted recently by several editors and I wanted to explain why. Basically, additions to Wikipedia need to be verifiable and reliably sourced - ideally to secondary sources rather than primary ones. You can't engage in original research, and you can't infer facts from opinions or several different sources to arrive at a conclusion (such as at your recent edit on Identity Ireland). I'd highly recommend reading the following pages - yes, it can be tedious, but worth it in the long run!

Regards, BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 08:40, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I'll take a look!

Hello, I'm The Banner. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Renua seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not add a political statement based on unsuitable sources. The Banner talk 09:51, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Human Dignity Alliance. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. The Banner talk 09:53, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Identity Ireland, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop using Wikipedia as a political forum The Banner talk 09:59, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Maybe don't bite the newbies quite so hard, The Banner? ;-) BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 10:09, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
His accusation towards political parties are quite severe. The Banner talk 10:54, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Irexit Freedom Party

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Irexit Freedom Party, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ——SerialNumber54129 16:52, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Irexit Freedom Party while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. ——SerialNumber54129 16:58, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

2024 Galway City Council election moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to 2024 Galway City Council election. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and there is only one party listed may bias readers towards that party in the election, and hence be seen as partisan. Please ensure that the candidate list is complete before returning to the main space.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Klbrain (talk) 13:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. — ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 09:55, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
