Speedy deletion nomination of CSN Debating Society

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CSN Debating Society requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 21:15, 5 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Elinor Carbone

edit

Hello, Theclownfromit. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Elinor Carbone, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Elinor Carbone to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

GMGtalk 13:02, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I honestly don't think this deserves a page either way, it's just for some random mayor in small town Connecticut so.... Jerry (talk) 14:14, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

For some reason she seems to be popular amongst Connecticut politicos. Once it’s padded out with more content it’ll probably make more sense.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of purpose-built national capitals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dublin City (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Citations

edit

Hi there, and thanks for your recent contributions on the Black people in Ireland‎ article. One request, though - can you fill in the references/citations properly? At the moment, you're just putting in the bare URL in between ref tags. If you follow use the extra parameters available in Template:cite (either cite web or cite news, as relevant) and include title, publisher, date and access-date, the reference becomes much more useful to readers and other editors. It takes a little extra effort but is very much worth it. Cheers, BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 23:52, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi - no problems. Once I finish updating the article as a whole, I'll do through the citations properly. Theclownfromit (talk) 23:54, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Feljin Jose moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Feljin Jose, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Feljin Jose

edit
