MAX Yellow Line
editHello:
I am also a member of the Guild of Copy Editors. I saw your note on the Requests page suggesting that another editor might have a look at the article MAX Yellow Line which you had copy edited. I had a run through it.
You are right, the article was in good shape. I broke up some lengthy sentences and tweaked some wording. I also removed a number of duplicate links to Wikipedia articles. (The general rule is to link to another page only once per article.) That's about it. The edits you made were fine.
Here's a link to the Wikipedia Manual of style in case you don't have it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style It may take some time, but you can usually find answers to most grammar/style questions here.
Happy editing.
Regards,
Mike Gapes and Khums
editHello:
I went through the two articles, Mike Gapes and Khums you recently edited for the GOCE. I am by no means perfect, but you might find it useful to have a look at the edits I made to the articles to see the additional issues I felt needed to be looked after in an edit.
Happy editing.
Regards,
March GOCE drive
editThanks for participating in the March drive. However, one of the articles you took credit for had only a minor punctuation fix and has been discounted. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Backlog elimination drives#Dos and Don'ts. Please don't hesitate to ask me (or one of the other coordinators) any questions. All the best, Miniapolis 19:09, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
