Just to let you know, we don't normally use flags in wikipedia articles, unless there is a strong reason for doing so. Also, due to compatibility issues with some browsers, we do not use them in section headers. More information can be found at MOS:FLAG. Regards, --WFC-- 03:27, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion subnational flags do not belong in the article. I have raised the issue at the bottom of the guideline's talk page. If you want to reinstate your previous edits I'm happy to leave them there, but I think it would be a good idea not to add any more flags for the time being, just in case the decision is to remove them. We'll have to agree to disagree. Like I say, I won't revert you, but I will leave it to WP:CONSENSUS, and accept whatever decision is reached. Regards, --WFC-- 03:54, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

City flags

edit

Please do not create any more country data templates for city flags. These images are not used in icon form on Wikipedia, so flag templates are not needed. And the reason they aren't used in icon form is because WP:MOSICON discourages that. Thanks — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 18:36, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
