Speedy deletion nomination of Oramics (band)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Oramics (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Jinkinson talk to me 02:14, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Kristi Scarvelis, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Oramics (band). This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. reddogsix (talk) 03:27, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
Oramics
editI've had a good go at trying to save this, as I like digging up obscure bands for my radio show, but there doesn't seem to be anything to hand, so I've had to start a deletion debate. The discussion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oramics (band) and will last for a week. If you have anything such as books, news or magazine articles that review the band or their recorded output, now would be a good time to dig them out and let us know about them. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Auramics
editIf you want to cite the Auramics article you will need to use reliable sources. That means no;
- personal blogs
- websites with user generated content, especially if that content is actually a copy directly lifted from a previous version of the same Wikipedia article.
- forum posts
- personal websites of band members.
To demonstrated notability you need sources that are not directly related to the band, are not compiled by the band or random fans, and talk specifically about the band. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:39, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
Dear Escape Orbit
Thanks for adjusting, but that music blog wasn't a personal blog it was a legitimate music blog that is featured on hype machine, please advise: http://soundinjections.net/post/103220217213/new-auramics-dagger-cordis

Disambiguation link notification for January 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Auramics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Can. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:00, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
Dear DPL Bot, thanks for the notice, I just fixed it! Cheers
