California's Great America edits

edit

Hello ThirdFrog, I have reverted your edits in the California's Great America article as most of it was not needed. Very few rides have maximum heights and you added defunct rides to the current rides list. Defunct rides go in the defunct attractions section. If you have any questions, just leave a message here. Thanks, --Astros4477 (talk) 20:17, 22 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Those were not defunct attractions on the California's Great America page. Berserker, Eagle's Flight, Orbit, Delta Flyer, and Centrifuge are all in operation. I have visited 3 times this month. Also, the maximum heights are derived from the same reference that the original height restrictions are derived from, and I added annotations. The list of rides can also be verified by visiting the website or calling the park if you do not live in California. I vote to restore my edits, because I believe it enhances the accuracy of the page. The only item I am not sure about is the 60"C notation used by Great America in the Maximum Height section. I don't know what the "C" means to Great America (it might mean children-only, but many of the same rides require parent supervision for certain children, suggesting that adults can be admitted also), since the brochure does not seem to explain what it means. I have restored the changes (and removed the "C" notation until I understand it). --ThirdFrog
