Carl Sargeant: Cause of death (suicide) should NOT be written as if it had already been established (contempt of court)
In England and Wales, whether a person has died (in a suspicious, unnatural or unexplained death) from suicide or not, is usually only formally and properly established, concluded or determined by someone called a coroner, in something called a Coroner's Inquest ... until the Inquest on the matter of the death of the late Carl Sargeant AM has been concluded, I would suggest that reports of suicide from even from such eminent and respectable journals as the Mirror, the Guardian, the Socialist Worker and the Morning Star should not be misused here in order to "jump the gun" before the coroner (and his jury, if there is to be one) has actually have the chance of finishing doing his (or their) job under the Coroners Act 1988 (1998 c. 13) [1] and the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (2009 c. 25) [2]. "From an unconfirmed suspected suicide", not "from suicide". (Under the Contempt of Court Act 1981 (1981 c. 49) [3], which also covers the work of coroners and Coroners' Courts, the maximum penalty according to Section 14(1)(2) [4] is a fine not exceeding £2,500 or 2 years' imprisonment, or both. - Without reading up on this, I've no idea whether what has been added would breach the pieces of legislation you mention, but as far as I can see the article is only reporting what has already been said elsewhere. For the record though, I haven't added this information, and I doubt most of the people you contacted did either. When you want to make someone aware of something you believe they've done wrong, you would be wise to either post on the talk page of the user concerned, or post on the talk page of the article. Doing what you did (i.e., posting to everyone who edited the article) can be seen as spamming, which is generally discouraged here. This is Paul (talk) 09:55, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

- Well there's a very long talkpage discussion about which one to use. That image was decided on as it's the most recent we have, and most representative of her as she looks now. ANI Experiences survey
Beginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

Hi, could you review your decision on the Henry Bolton move request Talk:Henry_Bolton_(British_politician)? Page usage for Hnery Bolton has settled down to a level of about 300 views per day which is comparable to some major front banch members of the government in the UK such as Jeremy Hunt Liam Fox Greg Clark Chris Grayling Sajid Javid. His opinions on Brexit, immigration, security and other topics are likely to remain of high interest for years to come because of his career experience and position as leader of UKIP. None of the other people on the disambiguation page come close to this level of interest. I know there was some opposition to the move but these have to be weighted according to how well they addressed the relevant Wikipedia policies. Weburbia (talk) 11:57, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- I still think it's a bit early to make a decision about this, as we only had the move discussion a few weeks ago. I haven't seen much media coverage of him, and Farage still seems to be the UKIP Brexit go to man for soundbites. I'd say let's revisit this in Spring 2018 and see how the situation is then. It is not necessary for him to be in the news every day. He has been on BBC question time and other national news reports though. Could you take a look at this SPI that I have been mysteriously included in. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kurtan~enwiki. Based apparently on a !vote at a AfD for C. Johan Masreliez. I have no association to that account and I learned my lesson years ago. As I have no association any IP connection should be easily established.
