Thanks. This was only a test.

Hi and thanks for that "warm" welcome. ;-) Unfortunately, I quoted a wrong cite - sorry and thanks for your second message. That "girl names"-fact is quite useless, of course, but in fact, it's true. Just to let you know I'm not doing any harm. ;-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by EagleSGE (talkcontribs) 01:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC).Reply

You asked me to elaborate on my comment. I don't remember exactly the things I saw that prompted me to leave you a note - but I do remember seeing lots of people being offended and put aback by the way you addressed their comments. I'm not gonna look into the specifics, I just ask that you keep in mind to not bite newbs, or anyone for that matter. Was just a friendly note, i think... Hello, Yuser31415! I was wondering if you answer the following questions for me on my talk page. Why do users put !vote (with a ! before the word vote)? And what does Wdefcon show? Thanks a lot for your help and happy editing! SD31415 (SIGN HERE) 17:06, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Questions were answered by Deskana (talk contribs). SD31415 (SIGN HERE) 17:20, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't blame me for still watching your talk page :-) --Deskana (For Great Justice!) 17:24, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's okay; I was offline at the time, so I appreciate you answering them anyway!
#include <stdio.h>

main()
  {
    printf("Thanks!\n");
    return 0;
  }
(Hope that's the correct program in C.) Cheers! Yuser31415 19:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

What's offensive about that username? --Charlesknight 21:22, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe but then we'd have to ban Godfrey, Godwin etc. --Charlesknight 22:01, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: warning

It wasn't a personal attack. I just want him to stop mindless reverts. I have nothing to do with anyone personally. Szhaider 23:36, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

See history of Iqbal. See how many times I have asked him to discuss and how many times he reverted without any valid resposnse. By the way, he has full support of Indian Admins, therefore, it is not easy to deter him. Szhaider 23:42, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't a personal attack. I had no such intention. Szhaider 23:54, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

What a relief

edit

It's a relief to have you following me around. Or at least, you seem to be. I approve either way. Thank you, seriously. If you ever need anything from me, such as administrator-related guidance (you're a budding admin, of course) or a second opinion on anything, please don't hesitate to ask. --Deskana (For Great Justice!) 21:38, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I do feel like I'm walking on eggshells occasionally. Sometimes it is just a better idea to realise that you're walking on eggshells and smash them with avengance, but knowing when to do that is what sets a good admin apart from a desysopped one. I like to err on the side of caution sometimes. Thank you for following me around, please do continue to do so. It's reassuring to know I have backup, especially when I sometimes feel like I'm surrounded by vandals/eggshells/etc. --Deskana (For Great Justice!) 21:46, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reply: Warning users for removing their warning messages

edit

Um, we never finished our discussion. I asked you a question, which was something like: "So, can I remove/blank everything from my user talk page?" You yourself said something like, "there aren't any significant policies/rules about removing warnings, so you won't be warned." Right? Thanks for your time, Your enemy 14:45, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

From what I understand, you say that there isn't any specific policy/rule/guideline that inforces this, so... can I blank my entire talk page then? User:Recoome wants to start blanking his talk page also... So AS LONG AS SOMEGUY0830 OR DESKANA OR ANYONE ELSE ISN'T BOTHERED BY IT, (actually, can you confirm this with them since they're your friends?) Then I'll start blanking... ... PL(DB) 18:39, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Look, I told Recoome specifically not to remove his warnings until I were to find out that if we can even remove them or not. I'm not harrassing (in any way, shape, or form) but just letting him know about what's going on and givin' him a heads up. Besides, we both really want to remove all of the warnings and comments we've ever received before. You say that we would be frowned upon by an arbitration commitee (I'm guessing by the mastermind Jim Wales and his team of administrators, right?) but would we be blocked upon also? This is why I want you to confirm this with Deskana and Someguy0830 (and possibly others that watch me) since they're the ones who almost always have to deal with me... My Request for Adminship

edit
  Thank you for your support in my my RfA, which passed with a tally of 117/0/1. I hope that my conduct as an admin lives up to the somewhat flattering confidence the community has shown in me. Please don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page should you need anything or want to discuss something with me. PS No need to be embarrased about typing {{Nilfanion}}!--Nilfanion (talk) 15:53, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
