Drug Screening
editRemember your question regarding drug screening in Singapore? Well I managed to get into contact with that friend of mine, and as I kindof expected, he wasent in a position to share too much details about it. But he did confirm what has been done at airports, and as for the road checkpoints, he hints that "there are provisions to allow for similar measures". I think this is the most we can gather, especially when the information is for an open source website like this without compromising on security! :D --Huaiwei 22:46, 25 May 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, I have just added your comment on the German Singapore Discussion page. -ThorstenS 16:58, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Hello Toshi,
I had noticed that you you've been engaged in a deleting war! I've spoken toUser:Angr who I think might be of more help to you than I can be. I've asked him to contact you!
I will of course continue to delete the link if I see it.
Grüße aus Berlin. Steve --IsarSteve 20:20, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
User:Angr replied straight away, but Im afraid there's not much luck there.... he wrote..
I don't know of any way. I've encountered blacklisted links on other Wikimedia projects, where the page won't save if it includes a link to a blacklisted site, but I've never encountered it at en-wiki. All I can think of is to watchlist the page, keep removing it, and block whoever keeps adding it (or semiprotect the page if the link is continually added from different IP addresses). —Angr 20:20, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
anyway for the timebeing I keep a watch too and whenever I see it has been added I'll delete it.. Maybe we should block the user? Let me know hat you think... You are not alone!! --IsarSteve 20:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help :-) -Toshi 21:00, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Disambiguating UAE emirates and capitals
editAt several of the talk pages for the individual Emirates of the UAE, queries or proposals have been put forth for having separate articles for the emirates and their eponymous capitals (e.g. here and here. As of now, two of the emirates have been disambiguated from their capitals: Abu Dhabi (emirate) / Abu Dhabi and Ajmān / Ajmān (city). If you are interested in discussing a comprehensive approach to the issue, please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Western Asia#Disambiguating UAE emirates and capitals. — AjaxSmack 19:15, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
