Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "ThunderousMastering", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, institution, company or website. Please note that Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or appear to be shared by multiple people. Please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Username

Hi. Please remember to follow the advice two sections above. Ideally, you should not be editing after notices like that, if they are accurate, otherwise you may be blocked. Remember that English Wikipedia contributors can not edit on behalf of companies. All edits must be personal. Have a good one. NTox · talk 23:04, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Certainly the appearance of a COI is not in doubt. The article created is a BLP of someone who works for Thunderous Mastering. Meters (talk) 23:11, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Article is Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jamey Harrow Meters (talk) 23:17, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

This account is not promotional, no promotional links have been used, operated by computer technician and not shared by anyone else. Article contains notable contributions to the world of music and is written from a 3rd party POV. No COI is intended. ThunderousMastering 17:36, 4 September 2012 (MST)

A username consisting of nothing but a company namne is not allowed, even if the edits made are acceptable. It's considered a promotional name. See WP:CORPNAME. You also need to read Wikipedia:Best_practices_for_editors_with_conflicts_of_interest. Meters (talk) 23:50, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

refactoring Talk page

edit

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You can delete most material from your Talk page, but you cannot change what others have written. If you have changed (or are planning on changing) your user name to TheOriginalGuitar you can leave a note here if you like, but you still appear to have a COI with any articles about Thunderingous Mastering or its employees. That doesn't mean you can't write or contribute to such articles, just that you have to be careful, as mentioned in my first post to this page. Meters (talk) 23:33, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Tide rolls. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Help talk:Deleted article, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Tiderolls 00:32, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not a mistake thank you I authored the page and blanked it on purpose thank you --ThunderousMastering (talk) 00:37, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Jamey Harrow without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 00:45, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Jamey Harrow, you will be blocked from editing. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:49, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
