- There is a limit to the number of times one can request unblock, but it is not a definite number. Eventually an admin will determine that the requests aren't addressing the block issue or are becoming disruptive. At that point the user's talk page access is denied. It's not a good situation but repeating a disfunctional cycle is a waste of time. Also, I'm old so I remember Reagan...and his predecessor...and his predecessor...anyway, for a while back. Hey, do you mind checking out the user User:Nathanl1192, his contributions are rather odd, he sometimes act as he doesn't know how to do something and pretty much blanks out the user page of Soxbot. Also, he left a pretty dumb reason 1 for one of his edits.--iGeMiNix/What's up?/My Stuff 19:45, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

my edits for Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences
I feel as though you unrightfully got rid of my edits. Albeit a bit of the edit might have gone a bit far, and I can take those out, or you can simply edit them out, but the rest was all legitimate from actual students, including myself, which is what prospective students and parents want to hear from. Also the last names might should be taken off or scrambled, except for mine, I will create a page about me, Andrew D Peterson(it will be necessary in the future when I am famous). thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ohnoesmyfriends (talk • contribs) 02:42, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- You certainly have a right to feel as you want about my actions. I invite you to seek other opinions. I've explained my revert on your user talk. As for your proposed article here is some more suggested reading: WP:NOTCRYSTAL. Regards Tiderolls 02:46, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
ok that makes sense I guess, but what about an article about myself, could I create it, If I only add facts about myself, not my own opinions, I will be famous one day and I feel a personal page would be great in the future, plus it would make for a great ice breaker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ohnoesmyfriends (talk • contribs) 02:56, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Ok...so don't read it. Your choice. Tiderolls 02:59, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Ohhhh, ok, I think I get it now, so not until I am famous can I have my own article, because now it would be speculation(except of course the facts about me), ok, I suppose that makes sense, if one person is allowed their own page, everyone would be allowed one, and I don't guess the servers could handle 9 billion plus more articles about anyone who cared to have a page, i'm only a college freshman, so a lot of these big words are a bit much, I'm a computer nerd, not an english nerd. --Ohnoesmyfriends (talk) 03:12, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Ohnoesmyfriends

This is the only warning you will receive by beating me to vandalism on Huggle. If you beat me to vandalism again, you'll be using Huggle to revert even more vandalism. I've given you a cookie and milk, too. Cheers. :) Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:20, 14 October 2010 (UTC) |

To spread the goodness of cookies, you can add {{subst:Cookie}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}!
Mmm - Milk! | ||
A tall, cool glass of milk just for you! Milk somehow promotes WikiLove and hopefully this has made your day better. After reviewing your contributions it is my opinion that you are not ready for adminship. I state that bluntly because it is not a bad thing. You do good work and your efforts are valuable; one's user rights are simply tools and only marginally affect one's contribution. More important are one's passion for accuracy and one's ability to work within the framework established by policy and convention; I've seen you exhibit these qualities and have no reason to doubt your good intentions. I hope that you continue to learn and contribute positively here because we need your help. One thing you should keep in mind is that adminship is not a goal; I can appreciate your eagerness to help, though, so I'll offer some advice. Find some area of interest for you that will allow you to expand your contributions in the direction of content. Being a vandal-scrubber is a good thing but there are many, many other tasks that need attention. This may sound hypocritical because I do so much recent changes work; remember that I'm advising you based on the expectations of the community. 3,000 to 5,000 content developing edits convey that one is an accomplished encyclopedia builder; 100,000 automated edits (with few errors) indicates that one is an accomplished vandal fighter. The ratio of the numbers is practically meaningless. Also, I would say that you need to stop asking about adminship. In six to eight months of solid contribution your interest in candidacy could be explained for what it is, an eagerness to help. If you continue to ask for input on the subject, a perception could develop that you are seeking the tools for the wrong reasons. See ya 'round Tiderolls 17:42, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- See you later and where do you you guys need some help at? Wayne Olajuwon chat 17:48, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- There is a collection presented here. Another option would be to ask editors on any of the WikiProjects that interest you what task(s) they think need attention. Tiderolls 18:29, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Rights
Can, you remove my rights? I am planning to retire editing here. Thanks.--iGeMiNix 00:48, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Of course I can, but I would want to be sure that is what you want. Do you want some time to reconsider? Tiderolls 01:55, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I am pretty sure, wasn't really into the whole wiki thing anyways, went on a week break before, and I think this time its going to be a long term one, I mean I will be on every now and then, but I don't think it is worth having the rights.--iGeMiNix 02:37, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll alter your user rights as requested. If you change your mind in the next few days, message me and I'll restore them. Breaks are essential and I would certainly understand one taking advantage of them. I just want you to know that your help is valued and I want to thank you for that. See ya 'round Tiderolls 02:41, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Edit
Was this edit constructive? Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:15, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely not. However, the vandalism goes back several edits. Fixed now. Tiderolls 00:17, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Will you please revert this edit and this edit to the last version by this edit on my user talk page? Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:26, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Your diffs are only showing me the edited [ages, not the edits themselves. You do know you are allowed to delete vandalism from your own user talk, right? Tiderolls 00:32, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- I know that I could vandalism is that Huggle had difficulties and that's why I couldn't revert it and no it works again. Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:40, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Also, why don't you try Igloo? Wayne Olajuwon chat 22:22, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- I may try it. I find Huggle works so I'm not looking for a better tool. We'll see. Tiderolls 23:40, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, and does reverting vandalism fast on Huggle depend on the computer and your connection speed? Wayne Olajuwon chat 23:55, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sure those variables have some impact. Tiderolls 23:57, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Barkhorn and Hilbert article reversions in error
Reversions made in Barkhorn article were in error because the German text deleted had already been used in the first paragraph. Enough IS enough: IMO we need little if any foreign language usage in any language wiki, and it is unencyclopedic to do so, but in any case one use per word/phrase article is ENOUGH!
You do not really think there are any English speakers who would rather read Schwert rittercruz (without tranlation 2nd time where I edited) more than once, do you?
As for the Hilbert article, an entire paragraph of foreign language 100% totally useless to 99.9% of all readers IS too much, and IS unencyclpedic, and should not be employed in English or any other languae wiki.
I request reversions be undone, and if your vanity is too great to allow you to do the obviously right thing, then please provide me with link to appropriate sectionS where I may (1) contest your unreasonable reversions, and (2) where I may try to start a discussion about the policy allowing gross overuse of foreign language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NCDane (talk • contribs) 18:02, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. In response to your "request" that I self revert. As far as I know, I've never edited the articles you reference. However, you may contact any editor to review my actions. If you have a specific complaint regarding my on-wiki actions, you may post at the administrator's notice board for incidents. I would caution you, though, to familiarize yourself with the Wikipedia manual of style and the concept of diffs before posting there. Now to the main point; I (and others) have explained to you many times that this project is centered on the concept of consensus. If you are seeking an appropriate forum to voice your concerns, I would advise contacting other editors on the discussion page here: Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style. If you have more questions or concerns I will make myself available. Regards Tiderolls 23:49, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Huggle errors
I don't know why Huggle continues to give those warnings saying that it has a problem and it needs to close. Why does this keep happening? Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:39, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
